  • Role And Responsibilities:**
  • Handle a caseload of medical malpractice cases from inception through to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and other team members.
  • Requirements:**
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Illinois (Missouri bar admission is a plus).
  • 3 years of experience in medical malpractice law.
  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements
  • Must hold a valid license to practice law.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Attorney/Lawyer.
  • Proven expertise in arguing motions.
  • Demonstrable experience in drafting motions.
  • Proficiency in handling discovery requests and responses.
  • Experience in trial preparation is required.
  • Expertise in writing legal briefs, including appellate briefs.
  • Adept at legal research and familiar with appellate practice.
  • Prior experience in taking depositions and summarizing them.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity.
