We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll and Benefits Administrator in the manufacturing industry, based in ALLIANCE, Ohio, 44601-2792, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for payroll processing, benefits administration, and other associated accounting and benefits functions.
This is a direct hire position with full time standard hours. After training there is an option to work a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:
• Administering payroll for both hourly and salaried employees
• Processing and maintaining employee benefits
• Efficient use of Microsoft Excel for payroll and benefits data management
• Performing accounting functions related to payroll and benefits
• Ensuring accurate and timely check processing for payroll
• Handling any payroll and benefits related inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Regularly updating and maintaining accurate records of payroll and benefits data
• Performing other duties as required, related to payroll and benefits administration
They are looking for someone who has strong payroll processing experience, is proficient in MS Excel, and can work well as a team!
Requirements:
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for processing and organizing data
• Knowledgeable in accounting functions, including payroll, tax calculations, and financial reporting
• Ability to manage benefits functions, such as enrollment, updates, and employee assistance
• Familiar with check processing procedures to ensure accurate and timely payments
• Understanding of benefits payroll, including deductions and adjustments
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and management
• Strong organizational skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Adept at problem-solving and resolving any payroll discrepancies
• Capable of working independently and meeting tight deadlines.
