We are offering an opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our team, located in Tumwater, Washington. This role involves managing financial records and ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations. The industry we operate in is Youth Services Nonprofit, and the workplace is onsite with potential for some remote work in the future.Responsibilities:• Managing and overseeing customer payroll, both semi-monthly and exempt/non-exempt• Processing weekly check runs• Handling contract billings with various entities such as school districts, state of WA, and federal contracts• Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)• Conducting account reconciliation and bank reconciliations• Performing data entry tasks and using Microsoft Excel for various financial operations• Assisting with the month-end close process• Utilizing QuickBooks for various bookkeeping tasks• No generation of financial reports is required for this role.
