We are offering an opportunity for a Business Analyst in New Orleans, Louisiana. This role is integral in improving our company's efficiency and effectiveness across various areas, with a particular emphasis on Human Resources functions. The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including formulating HR policies, implementing HR projects, and establishing positive employer-employee relationships. Responsibilities:• Formulate and recommend Human Resources policies and objectives for the entire company• Take lead on specific HR projects including the transition to PEO, updated HRIS, and new ATS systems• Establish and recommend employee relations practices necessary to foster a positive employer-employee relationship and promote high employee morale• Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the Human Resources function and ensure the company's compliance• Act as the primary contact with labor counsel and outside government agencies• Safeguard the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations• Make recommendations to senior management on HR issues and policies• Establish wage and salary structure, pay policies, performance appraisal programs, employee benefit programs and services, and company safety and health programs• Conduct interviews with executive-level candidates• Identify and implement HR training programs that address company needs across division lines
