We are offering an opportunity in San Antonio, Texas, for a Chief Information Officer (CIO) in the telecom provider industry. The role involves leading the development and implementation of a long-term IT strategy, overseeing all aspects of IT operations, and managing a high-performing IT team.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of a long-term IT strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals.
Oversee all aspects of IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, security, and user support.
Manage and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, providing strategic IT guidance and insights.
Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and return on investment.
Identify and implement emerging technologies to gain a competitive advantage and enhance business processes.
Champion cybersecurity initiatives and ensure the organization's data is protected.
Stay abreast of the latest IT trends and industry best practices.
Represent the IT department at executive meetings and effectively communicate IT initiatives and priorities.
Utilize skills in Cloud Technologies, CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Computer Hardware, Contracts, Deployments, Design, Digital.
Requirements
Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of Information Technology.
Proficiency in Cloud Technologies is required.
Experience in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is essential.
Must have a strong understanding of Database management and operation.
Knowledge of EO/IR systems is required.
Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary.
Familiarity with computer hardware is expected.
Must have a proven track record in handling contracts.
Experience in deployments is required.
Must have a strong design background, particularly in digital design.
Excellent leadership and decision-making skills are necessary.
Must have strong communication skills, both written and oral.
The ability to manage a team and foster a collaborative working environment is essential.
Must have a strategic mindset and the ability to drive digital transformation.
Proven track record in developing and implementing IT policies and systems that align with business strategy is required.
Must have a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certification is preferred.
