Alison Mochizuki from Robert Half has partnered with a large publicly traded company located in Encino, CA (10% on site) in search of a meticulous and professional Business-to-Business (B2B) Collections Clerk. The main tasks of the B2B Collections Clerk will be managing the company's outstanding account balances. The pay is up to $30/hour excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

1. Communicate effectively with clients to achieve resolution of overdue balances.
2. Maintain a consistent and professional level of communication with internal and external clients.
3. Investigate and resolve customer queries relating to non-payment of invoices.
4. Monitor and manage customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and any other irregularities.
5. Conduct account research and analysis as required.
6. Prepare and present reports on collection activity and accounts receivable status.
7. Ensure all client information is correct, including billing addresses and contact information.
8. Comply with fair debt collection practices.
9. Collaborate with sales department and senior management to coordinate collection efforts.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent. Higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated.
2. Proven work experience as a collection clerk or a similar role, preferably in a B2B environment.
3. Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, Xlookups) required and Netsute experience desired
4. Knowledge of collection laws and regulations
5. Strong negotiation and partnership-building skills.
6. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and complex environment.
7. Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
8. Superior customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in a detail-oriented environment.
