Plaintiff's Consumer Litigation Associate Attorney – Center City, Philadelphia, PA

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join the plaintiff’s consumer protection team at our client's Center City Philadelphia, PA office. This job offers an exciting opportunity for a junior level or experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join an excellent team to conduct legal research, draft pleadings and various motions, respond to discovery demands, and assist partners with all aspects of litigation. This role is vital within our organization and will involve traveling to various locations to build cases and secure clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research
• Draft pleadings and various motions in an accurate and timely manner
• Respond to discovery demands effectively and within set deadlines
• Assist partners with all aspects of litigation, including but not limited to, researching, drafting motion papers, and other litigation documents
• Conduct and defend depositions as well as conducting oral arguments
• Investigate potential new cases and learn about consumer protection law
• Utilize Case Management Software, Legal software, LexisNexis, and Management System for effective case management
• Brief teams on the progress and status of cases regularly
• Ensure all legal documentation, including complaint handling and claim administration, is accurate and up to date
• Apply skills in Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, and Consumer Protection to secure favorable outcomes for clients
• Use strong legal writing skills to draft legal briefs, legal pleadings, and other legal documents
• Leverage legal research skills to stay ahead of changes in consumer law and ensure compliance in all legal actions.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• 2-5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in complex civil or class action litigation.
• Proficiency in using legal software such as 3M, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, and Management System.
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Experience in Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, and Consumer Protection Law.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• High level of professional ethics and integrity.
