In this role you will identify stakeholder needs, derive requirements, conduct tradeoff analysis, develop algorithms and functional architectures, review product design, verify and trouble shoot systems. 1. Assist with gathering customer needs and lead translating these into detailed control system requirements. 2. Lead the definition, analysis and allocation of requirements across the various engineering areas. 3. Develop the high-level system architecture and perform trade-off analysis for design approaches. 4. Plan machine-level system integration and testing approaches and procedures both virtually and physically. 5. Provide technical leadership for a small to medium complex cross functional development projects. Responsibilities:• Interpret and develop engineering or similar requirements with at least 4 years of experience in product development.• Write system requirements, software, and design requirements documents.• Troubleshoot system issues effectively and efficiently.• Work with control system software or electrical mechanical control systems.• Utilize Simulink, a MATLAB-based graphical programming environment for modeling, simulating, and analyzing multidomain dynamical systems.• Familiarize with J1939 CAN, a set of standards created by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) for communication over the Controller Area Network (CAN) bus protocol.• Apply experience in electromechanical systems and electro-mechanical engineering.• Utilize skills in model-based systems engineering, simulation systems, simulators, and MATLAB.
