Responsibilities
- Prepare and file quarterly regulatory reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage both internal and external audits, ensuring all financial statements and reports are in order
- Oversee the financial reporting and analysis process, providing critical financial and operational information to the team
- Lead and manage a team of 4-7 employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Facilitate software implementations and multiple mergers, aligning with the company's growth and development strategies
- Reduce the number of days for month-end close process and financial reporting package preparation
- Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Excel Formulas, MS Excel, Microsoft Excel, and Accounts Receivable (AR) for daily tasks and reporting
- Ensure all financial operations comply with federal and state laws
- Develop and implement financial control procedures and systems
- Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Controller role or similar position
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Strong knowledge and experience with Excel Formulas
- Expertise in MS Excel and Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
- Excellent communication skills for clear and concise reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in financial forecasting and risk analysis
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
- Ability to strategize and solve problems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making
- High proficiency in public speaking and presenting financial data.
