We are in search of a proficient Controller to join our dynamic team within the healthcare industry. This role is based in Fort Mill, South Carolina and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and leading a team of accountants, overseeing daily operations, and providing guidance in financial reporting and general ledger management. This role is instrumental in the accounting operations and involves some budgeting and forecasting.Responsibilities:• Direct and mentor a team of staff accountants• Handle day-to-day accounting operations and review work • Oversee the closing of accounts every month• Manage financial reporting and general ledger• Collaborate with business unit leads to manage variances to budget• Handle treasury and cash management duties• Lead accounting operations, including some budgeting and forecasting• Utilize NetSuite for various accounting functions• Display strong leadership skills in directing and mentoring the accounting team• Apply your knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) in managing monthly and ongoing financial reporting.
