The successful candidate will utilize various skills including proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, Microsoft Excel, Collection Processes, and Credit. Responsibilities: • Monitor accounts receivable and carry out follow-ups on overdue invoices through various communication channels.• Develop and implement effective strategies to reduce past due accounts and bad debt.• Engage in negotiations with customers to establish payment plans and settlements to resolve outstanding balances.• Reconcile customer accounts to assure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.• Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure timely and accurate posting of payments.• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain and update customer credit records.• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.• Use Microsoft Excel and Office Suites to track and report on cash activity and check processing. • Leverage knowledge of banking operations and collection processes to achieve departmental goals.
