In this role, you'll be expected to ensure the effective management of customer credit applications and records. Your role will also involve taking necessary actions on customer accounts and providing support to the Accounting and Sales departments.Responsibilities:• Approve customer orders to ensure credit risk management• Implement strategies to reduce bad debt and account aging • Communicate with customers with outstanding payments to facilitate timely settlements • Record customer interactions to maintain accurate credit data• Prepare and update customer credit files as necessary• Establish customer credit limits using various credit sources and reports• Provide monthly reports on overdue accounts for Management review• Support Accounting and Sales departments with administrative tasks• Utilize Accounts Receivable (AR) skills to streamline billing functions and collection processes• Use Microsoft Excel for check processing and answering inbound calls for customer inquiries.
