Responsibilities:

• Enforces credit decisions regarding credit limit and terms to the sales staff, directors, and customers.
• Approves or denies sales orders to be shipped by analyzing credit limits, past due status, customer trend, and associated risk.
• Determines customer risk & reduces credit limits, places accounts on prepaid terms, or closes accounts permanently in coordination with Controller.
• Analyzes customer sales growth, activity & risk level, increases credit limits and/or adjust terms to meet business needs in coordination with Controller.
• Manages relations with credit reporting agencies and collections agencies.
• Negotiates payment plans and enforces they’re being adhered to.
• Reviews customer hold list and overdue accounts daily, contacts accounts to notify them of status and to request payment, logs all conversations in the system.
• Monitors accounts for payment trends and warning signs.
• Determines and executes account holds due to non-payment.
• Back up for daily billing, credit card payments, posting of cash, ACH transfers.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
