Robert Half is Hiring a Credit Manager Near Nashua, NH

A privately-owned manufacturing company in Nashua, NH that has been in business for over 100 years is seeking an experienced Credit & Collections Manager.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Credit Manager within a manufacturing company, experience working with a global customer base & a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluate customer creditworthiness and establish credit limits. Periodically assess and adjust credit limits based on analysis and risk assessment.
  • Become the subject matter expert on the use of the ERP relating to accounts receivable.
  • Evaluate, improve and maintain the new customer creation process.
  • Collaborate with sales and business unit managers to streamline credit management processes to balance growth and risk.
  • Develop and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations. Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes related to credit management.
  • Maintain the accounts receivable within the prescribed credit terms and minimize the average DSO.
  • Negotiate with clients in non-payment cases. Prepare reports and make recommendations to management regarding bad debt or write-offs.
  • Communicate with third party financial institutions, investigate and resolve bank and payment issues.
  • Assist with the creation, evaluation, and collection of letters of credit and documentary credits.
  • Assist the controller and the CFO with accurate weekly / monthly cash flow forecasts.
  • Assist with month end reports and year-end audit reviews.
  • Prepare various management reports as needed.
  • Oversee staff of one full-time and one part-time employee.
