Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture relationships with customers to provide exceptional service
- Foster account growth through strategic customer interactions in person and over the phone
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and State and Federal lending regulations
- Manage delinquent debt effectively by conducting appropriate telephone collection activities
- Process all payments and fees to customer accounts in line with Company Policy
- Conduct data entry tasks for loan applications and documents
- Handle and process credit loan applications
- Sign checks for loans, branch expenses, and money remittances
- Close loans as directed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role within the financial services industry
- Proficiency in Spanish language and translation
- Experience in collecting outstanding payments and commercial collections
- Familiarity with consumer collections and debt collection
- Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Customer Info File management
- Experience with CRM - Customer Relationship Manager software
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle complaints and queries professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of credit collections and commercial collections is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to maintain positive relationships with customers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- Willingness to undergo a background check as part of the recruitment process.
