Responsibilities
- Develop and manage databases to ensure functionality and optimization
- Utilize Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL for database management
- Conduct AB Testing to optimize database performance and ensure data validity
- Implement backup technologies to secure data and ensure data recovery
- Analyze and troubleshoot database performance issues
- Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Ensure the security of databases, performing updates and patches as necessary
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
- Maintain data warehousing systems for business intelligence
- Develop and enforce database administration and user standards and procedures.
- Proficient in Database management
- Demonstrable experience with Microsoft suite of software
- Familiarity with Backup Technologies
- Knowledge and experience in Data Warehousing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Relevant certifications in database management will be an added advantage
- Experience in the education industry is preferred but not mandatory.
