Key Responsibilities:
Enter and update patient information and medical records into electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Cerner, Meditech, or EPIC.
Verify accuracy and completeness of data from various sources.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff.
Perform data quality checks and audits.
Assist in report generation and data analysis.
Organize and manage paper and electronic files.
Provide general administrative support.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical billing, coding, or healthcare administration is a plus.
Experience in data entry, preferably in a medical setting.
Proficient in using EHR systems such as Cerner, Meditech, or EPIC.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
