About the Role: As a Data Scientist, you will drive ongoing reporting and insights, interacting with stakeholders and contributing to a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Identify key learnings from analysis and synthesize them into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Manage partnerships with Product, Marketing, and other teams to integrate insights into product decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop analyses that address their questions and needs.
- Deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or dirty data, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Work with the Engineering team to build and maintain reporting queries for monitoring business health.
- Maintain and develop dashboards in PowerBI to enable stakeholders to understand the business and support onboarding to other self-service tools.
- Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from various sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in communication and stakeholder relationships.
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficient in SQL; familiarity with SparkSQL, Databricks, or Azure Data Explorer is a bonus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with dashboarding tools, PowerBI preferred.
- Proficient in Python; familiarity with PySpark is a bonus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
- Local to the Seattle area.
