DescriptionWe are offering a contract to permanent opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in the local government sector, located in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves providing technical support for around 400 users, including troubleshooting, application support, and administering the 0365 system. The ideal candidate will have experience with a mix of Microsoft and Mac systems, including iPhones and iPads, which are used extensively in some departments. Responsibilities
Field Desktop Support Technician duties, including providing technical assistance to users.
Addressing and resolving break/fix issues promptly and efficiently.
Administering the 0365 system and providing application support where needed.
Demonstrating proficiency in a mixed Microsoft and Mac environment.
Handling and resolving issues related to iPhones and iPads, which are extensively used in certain departments.
Utilizing the MDM tool - MaaS 360 and the ticketing system - Kaseya effectively.
Possessing or working towards A Certification.
Demonstrating knowledge of Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, and Mac Computers.
Applying expertise in Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, and Deskside Support.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date knowledge of all relevant technologies and systems.
Requirements
Demonstrated proficiency in Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies
Familiarity with EO/IR systems
Experience with Mac Computers and Microsoft software
Knowledge of Active Directory
Proficiency in Computer Hardware
Experience in Configuration Management
Familiarity with Deployments procedures
Proven Deskside Support experience
Experience working in a local government setting
Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
