Robert Half Technology is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to join our client's dynamic IT team in Lexington, Kentucky. This role is a one-year contract, 40 hours per week, and is on-site at our client’s location in Lexington.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support to end-users, responding to inquiries, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and escalating more complex problems to the appropriate team.
- Desktop Management: Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, including operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
- Hardware Maintenance: Perform hardware troubleshooting and maintenance, including but not limited to desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Software Support: Assist users with software-related issues, such as troubleshooting software applications, assisting with installations, and providing guidance on software usage.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with IT team members, both on-site and remotely, to resolve complex technical issues and contribute to ongoing IT projects.
- End-User Satisfaction: Continuously strive to enhance the end-user experience by providing excellent customer service and support.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in desktop support, IT helpdesk, or a related role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with Windows
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus!
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus!
