DescriptionPosition: Director of Human Resources
Job Type: Direct-Hire/Full-Time
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000
Robert Half has partnered with a well-known manufacturer located in central Connecticut in their search for an HR Director to oversee their current HR team. This is full-time role with excellent benefits and work life balance. Local travel is required.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Manage HR systems
  • Lead the administration of employee benefits functions and ensure they align with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Handle employee relations issues and conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary.
  • Stay updated on HR trends and employment legislation to ensure the company's compliance.
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
  • Develop training and development programs to improve employee skills and performance.
  • Implement and manage various HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in HR Administration or HR Management
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Manufacturing or similar industry experience preferred
  • Experience in creating and implementing policies and procedures
  • Expertise in ensuring HR Compliance and maintaining Employee Relations
