Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational performance of various departments within the company.
- Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for each department to ensure efficient operations.
- Communicate directly with executives concerning day-to-day business operations.
- Manage a diverse team including an Assistant Director of Operations, Sales Team, and Transportation Specialists.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency.
- Handle third-party logistics and supply chain logistics to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee transportation logistics to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
- Generate operational reports to provide insights into the company's operational activities.
- Conduct interviews, employee training, and performance management to ensure a highly competent workforce.
- Collaborate with different teams and departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in an Operations Specialist role or a similar role
- Proficient in Operational Oversight, Operational Performance, and Operational Reporting
- Experience in Operations management is a must
- Should have a good understanding of Third Party Logistics, Supply Chain Logistics, and Transportation Logistics
- Ability to conduct KPI Reporting is a must
- Should be able to conduct Employee Training and Employee performance management
- Experience in conducting Interviews is required
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid change
- Proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field is preferred
- Must be a team player and have the ability to work independently when necessary
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is preferred.
