We are looking for a Medical Claims Analyst to operate from our Baton Rouge, Louisiana office. This role involves designing, configuring, supporting, and maintaining efficient information services technology, applications, and programs to maximize organizational performance. The position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and allows for teleworking.Responsibilities:• Facilitate the development of efficient, high-quality Epic systems, guiding projects from vision development to solution design, standards guidance, project scoping, and IS strategy integration• Evaluate technology, systems, and application capabilities, analyze workflow/data flow, and create efficient and logical solutions• Participate in solution testing and document clear and concise system descriptions that meet project requirements and departmental quality standards• Collaborate with Information Services, leaders, team members, and end users to develop system specifications that maximize organizational performance• Develop and implement data-driven performance improvement methodologies• Maintain accurate records for use in evaluating organizational performance and identify ways of improving current services• Ensure the security, integrity, and privacy of data in conjunction with policies and procedures• Stay current with the latest trends in the field of expertise through participation in job-relevant seminars and workshops, attendance at professional conferences, and affiliations with national and state professional organizations• Utilize project management methodology and best practices to improve individual and organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and outcomesSkills required include data processing, Microsoft Excel, billing functions, claim administration, documentation, certified Epic, Epic Hospital billing, Epic EMR, and EPIC Resolute.
