This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Brea, California area.Responsibilities- Distinguish and evolve process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency- Ensure regular account reconciliation to completion- Drive accountability and the meeting of deliverables- Formulate relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like actual spend against budgets/outlook, key financial metrics, and the monthly flash report- Contribute to ensure a competent, trained staff through development, goal setting, and regular assessment- Dissect and generate Ad Hoc financial reports- Accommodate the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including budgeting and forecasting- Approve implementation and verify adherence to accounting policies and procedures- Perform other duties when necessary- Prepare a variety of technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures- Innovative preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end audits- Help lead the accounting team during the closing process to ensure deadlines are met- Backfill for Controller when appropriate
