Robert Half is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Greenwich, CT

DescriptionWe are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Front Desk Coordinator in a healthcare facility located in GREENWICH, Connecticut. In this role, you will be the first touchpoint for patients, visitors, and staff, managing the reception area and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary materials.
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
  • Schedule appointments, ensuring efficient coordination of the facility's schedule.
  • Provide administrative support, including filing, copying, and data entry tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Resolve administrative problems by analyzing information, identifying and communicating solutions.
  • Perform receptionist duties including receiving and directing visitors.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of administrative processes to enhance efficiency within the facility.
Requirements
  • Must have prior experience in Receptionist Duties
  • Excellent Customer Service skills are required
  • Knowledge of healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry is essential
  • Must possess strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
  • Proficiency in using office equipment, including printers and fax machines
  • Must have a good understanding of office administration and basic bookkeeping practices
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Must have a high school diploma; additional qualifications will be a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
