DescriptionRobert Half has partnered with a real estate investment firm in Centennial in search of a Fund Accountant! The Fund Accountant position is paying $80,000-$110,000!The Fund Accountant Will Be Responsible For The Following
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and GAAP.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment disbursements, and cash receipts.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights to management.
  • Audit and Compliance: Support internal and external audit processes. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Transaction Processing: Record and reconcile daily transactions related to property acquisitions, dispositions, and financing activities.
  • Expense Management: Monitor and analyze expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Tax Preparation: Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external tax advisors.
Requirements For The Fund Accountant Include
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2 years of fund accounting, property accounting, or job cost accounting experience
  • Yardi or QuickBooks experience is preferred
  • CPA or pursuing the CPA (nice to have, but not required)
  • Public accounting experience (nice to have, but not required)
