Fund Accountant Position - Palo Alto - Hybrid

Compensation: 90-120K plus Bonus.

Leading global venture firm in Palo Alto is seeking a Fund Accountant. You will be working with a firm managing nearly $11 billion and with a prominent track record of aiding companies in delivering superior tools and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process new and follow-on deals, including accounting and database entries
• Manage cap table updates and portfolio valuations
• Conduct reviews on quarterly fund financials
• Prepare financial statements for employee funds
• Execute ad hoc research or reports and study historical trends
• Manage cash flows such as capital calls & distributions
• Assist with audits and tax-related matters

Experience & Skills:

• 2-5 years of audit experience with venture capital or private equity clients
• Will consider people working with a Fund Administrator
• Experience at a fund administration firm or a smaller venture firm is beneficial
• Must be a team player, friendly, and an excellent communicator
• Ability to manage high transaction environments
