The role is a Senior Grant Accountant which involves managing the full lifecycle of grants, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and contributing to the overall fiscal health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Administer the entire lifecycle of grants, from proposal budgets to closeout, while ensuring compliance with grant agreements and donor requirements.

• Prepare and review grant budgets, financial reports, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.

• Monitor grant expenditures and collaborate with program managers to ensure proper allocation and spending of funds.

• Adhere to accounting principles, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements in the administration of grants.

• Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify and rectify any discrepancies, ensuring financial accuracy and integrity.

• Generate comprehensive and accurate financial reports for grantors, board members, and senior management, providing insights into the financial performance of grant-funded programs.

• Work closely with the Finance Director/Controller and program managers to develop annual budgets for grant-funded programs.

• Foster effective communication and collaboration between finance, program, and development teams to ensure a cohesive approach to grant management.
