Position Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide financial and strategic leadership to the Americas region, advising and influencing regional commercial directors and managers in making business decisions.
- Manage several Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) responsibilities, including financial planning, tracking of operating expenses, headcount reporting, monthly close support, quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and variance analyses.
- Understand commercial strategy and associated metrics.
- Collaboratively identify risks and opportunities that drive financial results and manage these with the Finance and Commercial team to align the overall organization.
- Support leadership and internal teams during the annual Long Range Planning process.
- Direct clients on key corporate financial policies, ensuring proper International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) treatment.
- Ensure on-time and accurate reporting.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field of study.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or related certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience in a Head of Finance or similar leadership role within the finance industry.
- Proficiency in using financial management software, preferably SAP.
- Strong knowledge of CapEx, Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management.
- Expertise in Cash Flow Analysis, Business Strategy, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A).
- Experience in Long-range financial planning, Financial Planning, and managing Headcount.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills to manage the company's financial operations and guide its business strategy.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on staff development and team building.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate.
