Robert Half is Hiring a Help Desk Analyst I Near Reading, PA

DescriptionWe are seeking a Help Desk Analyst I to join our fully remote team. In this role, you'll be primarily responsible for IT fulfillment, including handling tasks such as account creations, granting access, and ordering hardware. This position does not involve end user support but serves as a stepping stone into other roles within the IT organization.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with service delivery for hardware and software purchasing, as well as user device purchasing and asset management.
  • Administer the acquisition, storage, distribution, and disposal of IT assets.
  • Produce and analyze registers and histories of authorized assets.
  • Respond promptly to support requests, providing information to enable incident resolution.
  • Allocate unresolved tickets appropriately and ensure there are no unauthorized assets in use.
  • Use Google Suite, Active Directory, and other IT tools to manage and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain an organized system for managing a ticket queue in ServiceNow.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
  • Use problem-solving and analytical skills to address IT issues.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications and maintain customer credit records.
Requirements
  • Possess knowledge and experience in Active Directory
  • Proficiency in using Google Suite
  • Demonstrate understanding and experience with PC Hardware
  • Ability to perform Password Reset
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with other IT staff and users
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Must have good organizational skills to prioritize workload
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated and attentive to detail
  • Willingness to stay updated with system information, changes and updates
