We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst III. This role primarily operates in the tech industry and requires the individual to provide comprehensive technical support and manage computer hardware.Responsibilities:• Oversee all Mac workstation hardware and locally installed software, including deployments, updates, and troubleshooting tasks.• Standardize and maintain software configurations and document all changes.• Administer and manage the JAMF Apple Management system, including custom configuration profiles and extension attributes.• Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support for Mac computers, including hardware and software troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair.• Assist users with the setup, configuration, and ongoing usability of Macintosh systems.• Handle technical issues related to macOS, iOS, and related software applications.• Coordinate repairs with Apple and manage user account creation and permission for new employees.• Maintain and adjust automation for computer updates/patching using scripting languages.• Regularly install updates to operating systems and software to ensure optimal performance.• Maintain computer backup strategy and monitor for health, planning hardware refreshes as needed.
