This role is essential to the smooth operation of medical facilities and healthcare providers. Responsibilities
Accurately input and update patients' medical information into our EHR system.
Utilize software such as AHLTA, IBM AS/400, McKesson, and Microsoft Excel for data entry and record keeping.
Handle billing functions and claim administration effectively.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving patient inquiries related to their medical data.
Ensure proper documentation of all medical records in line with health information management best practices.
Adhere to data confidentiality and security standards in handling medical records.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless data management.
Identify and report any issues or inconsistencies in patient data.
Participate in training and development sessions to improve data entry skills.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations regarding data handling and privacy.
Requirements
Proficiency with Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA)
Experience with EHR SYSTEM
Familiarity with IBM AS/400
Proficiency in using McKesson software
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Billing Functions
Experience with Claim Administration
Exceptional Customer Service skills
Proficient in Data Entry tasks
Excellent Documentation skills
