In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of essential HR functions, primarily focusing on payroll processing, onboarding, offboarding, and supporting employees with various HR-related matters. Fluency in Spanish is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing:
- Review and process payroll for approximately 160 employees through ADP.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll submissions, including calculations for taxes, deductions, and overtime.
- Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and assisting with paperwork.
- Manage the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and processing termination documentation.
- I-9 Compliance:
- Maintain and ensure compliance with Form I-9 requirements, including accurate record-keeping and verification of employee eligibility to work in the United States.
- Disability Claims:
- Assist employees with disability claims, providing guidance on the claims process and necessary documentation.
- Liaise with insurance providers and employees to ensure smooth processing of claims.
- Benefits and Leave of Absence (LOA):
- Provide support and information to employees regarding benefits programs.
- Ideally, possess knowledge of LOA administration to assist employees with leave requests.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
- Previous experience in payroll processing is a must.
- Familiarity with benefits administration is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of leave of absence (LOA) policies and procedures is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information with discretion.
