We are seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our team in the Paper/Packaging industry, based in WATSONVILLE, California. The role entails administering benefits, updating employee records, and handling employee inquiries. The position will be on-site and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Oversee the process of enrollment, change, and termination forms for company health insurance and other benefits.• Maintain and update employee records and benefits files, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.• Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, promptly resolving any benefits-related issues.• Collaborate with payroll to ensure that employer contributions and payroll deductions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.• Reconcile monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and communicate errors with third-party administrators.• Collaborate with HR Manager to conduct benefits orientation sessions for new and rehired employees.• Provide support during the annual open enrollment periods.• Prepare and maintain employee files including confidential medical files, unemployment claims, and COBRA.• Track and process employee leaves of absence, including FMLA and PSL.• Use skills such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, HRMS, About Time, Background Checks, Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, Compliance, and Spanish Language to perform duties efficiently and effectively.
