DescriptionWe are offering a contract opportunity for an Office Assistant in Hanover, Maryland. This role will focus on administering human resources policies and procedures that cover several functional areas. The successful candidate will be tasked with the collection and analysis of HR data, processing paperwork according to established procedures, and managing internal employee communications.
Responsibilities
  • Administer human resources policies and procedures across multiple functional areas
  • Collect and analyze Human Resources data to provide recommendations to management
  • Process paperwork for various functional areas in line with established procedures
  • Prepare and manage internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, and company policies
  • Use creativity and analytical skills to plan and achieve goals
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of HR functions
  • Utilize skills in language interpretation and application performance management
  • Supervise HR administration and benefit functions
  • Comply with company policies, practices, and procedures
  • Manage employee relations and compensation administration.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in communication, including verbal and written correspondence, to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability in planning and organizing tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Familiarity with office procedures and practices to maintain an efficient work environment.
  • Experience or knowledge in Human Resources (HR) Administration to support HR-related tasks and functions.
  • Proven skills in supervising and managing office staff to maintain productivity and performance.
  • Ability to handle benefit functions and paperwork related to employee benefits.
  • Understanding of company policies and ability to enforce them within the office.
  • Experience in compensation administration and employee relations to ensure fair and consistent management practices.
  • Creativity and analytical skills to solve problems and improve office processes.
  • Ability to interpret languages, if necessary, to facilitate communication within a diverse office environment.
  • Experience in QA Management to ensure quality standards are met in all office procedures.
  • Proven skills in stakeholder engagement to build and maintain relationships with key office partners.
  • Knowledge in application performance management to ensure efficient use of office software and applications.
