We are in search of a proficient Human Resources and Benefits Manager to join our team in the Food & Food Processing industry located in El Segundo, California. As a Human Resources and Benefits Manager, your main role will be to oversee payroll and benefits operations, handle HR audits, maintain compliance, and manage employee records. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Oversee the administration and reporting of payroll, benefits, time & attendance, and 401k for all regional companies • Handle all HR related inquiries professionally from HR, employees, and management• Support the onboarding of new employees by ensuring timely payroll and benefits setup• Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders such as brokers, vendors, service providers, record keepers, investment advisors, and legal counsel• Manage the renewal of programs and maintain timelines with expiration dates/renewal dates for all employee programs• Ensure compliance with applicable Federal & State rules and regulations• Assist in the company's restructuring or mergers/acquisitions processes• Manage all employee files and documents• Oversee the HRIS audit processes• Lead all payroll, benefit plan, and HR audits• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
