Robert Half is Hiring a Human Resources (HR) Manager Near Alpharetta, GA

DescriptionAttention all Human Resources Managers. Robert Half is working with a growing client to a hire a new Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager will be SOLE HR and responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department. If you thrive in a dynamic work environment that requires the ability to balance multiple responsibilities, this may be the role for you.
Responsibilities
  • Assess reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs
  • Manage human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Establish recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws
  • Manage all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team
  • Represent your team at interdepartmental meetings with other managers
  • Assist employees such that they follow all policies and procedures
  • Be familiar with and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings
  • Lead and define exit interviews and procedures
  • Organize historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records
  • Build up the organization's human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
  • Set up management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
  • Explore compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
  • 1 years of supervisory experience within human resources
  • Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
  • Thorough when handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
  • Familiarity with HR software and working knowledge of MS Office
  • An understanding of the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations
  • Unimpeachable ethics, integrity, and standards
  • 5 years in human resources
  • Ability to view issues objectively
  • Broad knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure
  • PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are preferred
  • Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
