The ambitious and resourceful Human Resources Recruiter will support the HR team in hiring top-tier talent. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the recruitment process. streamlining hiring procedures and ensuring we attract and hire quality candidates.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute recruiting plans.
- Network through industry contacts, trade groups, and employees.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Screen applications and select qualified candidates to move forward in the hiring process.
- Schedule interviews with candidates and coordinate the interview process.
- Regularly maintain and update our applicant tracking system.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand roles and needs.
- Deliver an excellent candidate experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a HR role, with a focus on recruitment.
- Proven experience in sourcing, networking and screening applicants.
- Knowledge of labor legislation and employment equity regulations.
- Familiarity with full-cycle recruitment.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS or ATS software.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
