Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive enterprise information security program to ensure the protection of data, systems, and networks.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and address security gaps.
- Implement and manage security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus solutions, and encryption protocols.
- Monitor security alerts and coordinate response efforts to security incidents and breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security controls into system development life cycles.
- Conduct security awareness training and education programs for employees to promote a culture of security.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies to ensure the company's defenses are current and effective.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of audits and compliance reviews.
- Provide technical security advice and guidance to IT projects and initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security within a corporate environment.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS).
- Proven experience with security technologies and tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection).
- Excellent understanding of network security, encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think like an attacker to anticipate and mitigate security threats.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
