Robert Half's client in Tucson, Arizona is seeking an IT Manager. This role will be fully onsite, and you will be the sole IT provider within the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - IT: -Responsible for ensuring the network and workstations are maintained in good working order, ensuring updates and patches are installed as needed; recommends configurations and new purchases that will assist staff in performance of job duties; oversees network security; communicates with users about timelines for individual repair and/or upgrades. -Responsible for the servers, ensuring upgrades and patches happen in a timely manner, configuration setup; maintaining user accounts and controls; responsible for ensuring nightly server backups-Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate communication with staff regarding outages, upgrades, ensures individual users are kept informed on repair requests- Ensures good IT customer service is performed for all support requests to the standards set forth in the employee manual-Maintains all databases; includes programming, upgrading software, and modifications or major upgrades as needed-Responsible for security camera installations, maintenance and backups-Responsible for maintaining programming on phone system; adding new users and making changes as needed-Responsible for generating annual capital IT budget requests -Responsible for monitoring IT expenses and IT capital budget purchases-Installs new hardware and software; ensures components work well and downtimes are kept to a minimum-Supervises IT personnel-Responsible for data conversions related to changes in different functional applications for HSSA-developed programs and databases-Responsible for strategic planning for IT related upgrades and communicating with staff-Responsible for developing and implementing as needed IT disaster plan and recovery-Develops reports from various databases as needed-Provides user database support- Trains new staff on the organizations network, email, and other systems needed to perform their work- Resolves system malfunctions and troubleshoots IT problems-Supports end user needs through ongoing training
