We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist Lead to join a dynamic IT team for our client here in Des Moines. As a leader in our IT support department, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective technical support services to our organization and supporting the team. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:Team Leadership:Foster a positive and collaborative team environment to enhance productivity and employee engagement.Technical Support:Provide advanced technical support to end-users, resolving escalated issues and ensuring timely problem resolution.Serve as a point of contact for complex technical problems, working closely with team members and other IT departments.Problem Resolution:Analyze and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to identify root causes and implement solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address recurring technical issues and implement preventive measures.Documentation:Develop and maintain documentation for IT support processes, procedures, and solutions.Ensure that knowledge base articles are up-to-date, providing valuable resources for the team and end-users.Training and Development:Identify training needs within the team and coordinate ongoing training programs to enhance technical skills and customer service.Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure the team's continuous improvement.Customer Service:Foster a customer-centric approach within the team, emphasizing responsiveness, professionalism, and a positive attitude.Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolutions.Collaboration:Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall IT service delivery.Participate in cross-functional projects, representing the IT support team and contributing expertise.
