IT Systems Engineer (Managed Service Provider)

Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Worksite: ONSITE with client visits (mileage reimbursed)

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday

Start Date: ASAP

Length: 3-6 months Contract to Hire

Salary Range: $41-52/hr DOE

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our client, a Managed Service Provider, as they build out their IT team. This urgent need role is project-based, focusing on a variety of IT solutions for our clients, from Office 365 migrations to cybersecurity recovery efforts. You will engage with customers regularly, both onsite and virtually, ensuring their IT infrastructures are robust and secure.

Typical Day:

• Engage with customers to assess and address their IT needs
• Lead Office 365 migration paths, including Exchange to 365 transitions
• Implement, upgrade, and migrate servers and storage solutions
• Set up new NAS/Sandbox environments and manage remote cloud-based backups
• Conduct operational tasks such as new hardware installations and server upgrades
• Perform networking tasks including switch, firewall, and security upgrades
• Address cybersecurity incidents, including system restorations and disaster recovery/avoidance efforts

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in network and systems integration
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft and Exchange Server (MS- 2003, 2008, 2012; Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010)
• Proven experience with both on-premises and cloud-based security
• Expertise in data center planning and management
• Strong onsite support skills, with a readiness to visit client sites as needed

• Expertise in at least one of the following areas: storage, networking, security, with a willingness to learn the others
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and industry trends

Benefits:

• Competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 annually upon conversion (DOE)
• Mileage reimbursement for client site visits
