We are seeking a skilled Sr. Accountant for an opportunity in McLean, VA. This role will involve overseeing commercial properties, preparing and reviewing journal entries, conducting weekly cash analysis, creating financial reports and statements, and responding to ad hoc reporting needs. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Oversee commercial properties, ensuring consistent, accurate, and timely reporting.• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.• Conduct weekly cash analysis to monitor and manage cash flow.• Respond to ad hoc reporting needs, providing necessary information as required.• Review and/or create real estate accounting transactions.• Prepare and oversee all aspects of advanced level financial statement packages.• Submit funding requests, managing the process from start to finish.• Partner with the field and Account Management teams to ensure requirements and terms of the client's are met.• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Yardi for various tasks.• Provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.• Use strong organizational and analytical skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
