We are offering a position for a Logistics Coordinator located in Palo Alto, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing supply chain procedures, ensuring efficient inventory management, and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies. Additionally, you will be required to use different software tools, including ERP solutions and Microsoft Office Suites.Responsibilities:• Assist in training and orientation for new staff members• Build and replenish multiple carts for basic bedside patient care and surgical procedures• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations including IPC, Joint Commission, AAMI, AORN• Respond to urgent or stat requests in an efficient and effective manner• Manage resources prudently and maintain efficient inventory• Inventory and restock all Supply Chain managed locations using a mobile handheld device• Manage information using appropriate manual or electronic systems for shift work activity• Report any discrepancies or unusual activities to the Lead/Supervisor• Coordinate with biomedical services to track, store, maintain, and distribute medical equipment• Use surgery scheduling software to generate worksheets, pick tickets, and surgery schedules.Skills:• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions• Familiarity with IBM AS/400• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites• Excellent customer service skills• Knowledge of customs and delivery procedures• Proficiency in documentation.
