The role involves converting paper records into digital formats, adapting to a challenging environment, and swiftly addressing the backlog of records. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Enter, verify and update patient information and medical records into electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Cerner, Meditech, or EPIC.• Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data.• Adhere strictly to maintaining confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.• Perform data quality checks and audits to ensure data integrity.• Assist in generating reports and analyzing data to provide insights.• Organize and manage both paper and electronic files efficiently.• Provide general administrative support to facilitate smooth operations.• Utilize various skills such as Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), EHR SYSTEM, IBM AS/400, McKesson, Microsoft Excel, Billing Functions, Claim Administration, Customer Service, Data Entry, Documentation, Medisoft, Epic Software, and Cerner Technologies in performing duties.
