Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Liaise between different departments to ensure smooth and profitable business operations.
- Spearhead the implementation of operational policies and procedural improvements.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a dynamic and competent team of employees
- Conduct performance reviews and make necessary decisions for workforce management, hiring, and termination.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations, and maintain a safe, quality-focused work environment.
- Create and monitor budgets, making necessary adjustments based on financial analysis.
- Collaborate with other company executives and stakeholders.
- Regularly review and report progress towards operational goals to senior management.
- Utilize your bilingual communication skills to facilitate effective cross-cultural communication within the organization.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing, with at least 10 years in a management position.
- Lean or Six Sigma Certification, while not mandatory, is strongly preferred.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with operational management.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of industry safety and warehouse procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and familiar with industry-relevant software.
