Robert Half is Hiring a Part Time Human Resources Assistant Near Rochester, NY
Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage digital and physical employee personnel files
- Administer changes to the Vanguard 401k website such as adding/removing employees and updating 401k contribution changes
- Draft and disseminate staffing announcements for new hires, interns, and separations
- Oversee HRIS system maintenance including launching onboarding, updating access, assigning/removing users in supervisor groups, approving benefit changes and adding/removing employee benefits
- Generate reports when necessary, usually for finance or Department of Labor reporting
- Assist employees with leave of absences paperwork completion and ComTon leave system updates
- Track missed benefit payments for employees on leave
- Handle benefit billing.
- Proficient in HRMS and About Time software
- Solid understanding of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration
- Familiarity with Compliance regulations in the HR field
- Experience in handling Employee Relations
- Ability to use Paycom and Paylocity software
- Proven track record in similar HR roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
