DescriptionWe are in search of a Business Systems Analyst to join our team in the construction/contractor industry. The selected candidate will be based in Arlington, Texas, and will primarily focus on supporting all HRIS applications by performing system maintenance, production support, and project/process improvements. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities
Support HRIS applications by performing system maintenance, production support, and project/process improvements.
Serve as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas.
Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches.
Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrades, enhancements, and/or fixes.
Manage projects and process improvement, including identifying trends, design, implementation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.
Partner with various HR functions to identify new enhancements, updates, or maintenance opportunities.
Translate business objectives and needs into clearly written functional-technical requirements.
Develop and maintain a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation, and provide training to users on new processes/functionality.
Provide support for the creation and update of user security roles and permission lists.
Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support.

The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is required.
Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques is a plus.
Experience with data modeling and design techniques is beneficial.
Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously is required.
Must have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
