DescriptionWe are offering an opportunity for a Logistics Clerk to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role, you will plan and release production schedules, coordinate flow of work through manufacturing processes, maintain proper inventory levels, and improve customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
Review and maintain work orders and master production schedule
Establish priorities for specific customer orders, adjusting schedules according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability of resources
Collaborate with department supervisors to determine work progress and implement changes in processing methods received from engineering departments
Compile and prepare production reports as required
Release manufacturing production orders to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders
Analyze production requirements and plant capacity data to determine human resource requirements
Plan lot sizes, lead times, and replenishment strategies to balance inventory investment, customer service, and productivity
Confer with production teams and factory schedulers to set promise dates for new orders
Ensure timely completion of cycle count adjustments
Utilize customer service, Microsoft Excel, and other office functions to support planning and materials handling processes.
Requirements
Candidate must possess strong customer service skills, with a focus on maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for managing data and creating reports.
Experience with office functions, including filing, data entry, and record keeping.
Demonstrated ability in planning and scheduling tasks, meetings, and appointments.
