Job Posting: Product Owner/Business Analyst Hybrid

Location: Chicago, IL (3 days a week onsite)

6 month contract to hire

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner/Business Analyst hybrid to join our clients team in Chicago. This role is pivotal in documenting and managing business requirements, specifications, and process changes, utilizing standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, workflow analysis, user stories, and business requirements documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document and manage business requirements, specifications, and process changes.
• Utilize analysis techniques like data flow modeling, workflow analysis, user stories, and business requirements documents.
• Support both internal and external users/customers of a platform/software.
• Collaborate with peers and mid-level leadership to gather and assess business and technical requirements.
• Develop Agile Scrum User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Communicate complex business and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create process diagrams, page wireframes, and page mock-ups to illustrate requirements.
• Assist the Quality Assurance team in translating requirements/user stories into test scenarios and plans.

Requirements:

• Senior-level Business Analyst experience, comfortable with engaging peers and mid-level leadership.
• Well-rounded generalist with a strong background in developing Agile Scrum User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Proven ability to work with business stakeholders to identify, assess, and document business and technical requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to persuasively convey complex concepts.
• Proficiency in developing process diagrams, page wireframes, and page mock-ups.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Working knowledge of tools used in managing Agile initiatives (Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, etc.).

The salary for this position is $50 per hour.
